MARRIAGE LICENSE

Prior to arriving at your ceremony location, you will need to have a CLARK COUNTY MARRIAGE LICENSE in your hands! As your Las Vegas officiant, I cannot grab this for you, all couples must first visit the Marriage Bureau to obtain this packet of legal paperwork ($77) prior to their marriage ceremony. The Marriage Bureau is open 8am-midnight, 7 days per week. If you need assistance we are available to do so.

The entire packet of marriage licensing paperwork consists of 3 documents that are all needed in excellent condition. No coffee or food stains, no torn edges!

A a temporary keepsake version of your marriage certificate will depart with you the license and certificate will be filed by weddingcreations!

After 10-days, you can access your REAL marriage certificate here ; it has now become public record. Order this version online and have it sent to your home address. This "official" version is the copy used for a name change, benefits at work, etc. If you cannot wait roughly 20-days total to have this delivered to your home mailbox, we can rush the service for a fee of $50.

APOSTILLE

Countries participating in the Hague Convention of 1961 require a bonus document which authenticates your marriage certificate. A LOT of countries require this, it is called an APOSTILLE. Does your home country require an Apostille? Look here.

You can spend several days trying to figure out how to obtain an Apostille and two months waiting for your documents to arrive - that is IF you have not made any errors in the application process! Comparing DIY Apostille services, versus paying wedding- creations to handle the process for you is much faster and easier.

The service charge is $360 and it takes 7-10 Business Days vs waiting 2-3 months.

WITNESS

The State of Nevada requires a witness to your wedding, if you come alone with your spouse we can provide a witness for you.

A "paperwork only" service is suitable in a variety of situations such as medical necessity or military circumstances. This is also needed when having a non-licensed family member perform your Las Vegas wedding ceremony, or as a convenient alternative to visiting the Las Vegas Justice of the Peace.

International Couples!

Many countries are part of the 1961 Hague Treaty Convention and require that you obtain an additional certificate of authenticity called an APOSTILLE. Your marriage in the USA will be recognized all over the world, however, the countries listed below typically require this additional piece of legal paperwork. Please check with your home country's government offices.
